Promoter Jose Kiggundu Returns with Star-Studded UG Fest 2026 in London

Ugandan UK-based events promoter Joseph Kiggundu, popularly known as Jose of Jobs Link Group, has made a major comeback on the entertainment scene with a highly anticipated event dubbed UG Fest 2026.

The festival is scheduled to take place on July 4th, 2026, at Newham Leisure Centre in London and promises to be one of the biggest Ugandan entertainment events on the UK calendar this year.

UG Fest 2026 will feature top Ugandan artistes, including Cindy Sanyu, Ray G, Apass, Omega 256, and Vyroota, among others. The event will also showcase electrifying performances from popular entertainers DJ Ssuuna Ben and Mbaziira Tony, known for their vibrant “Binyanya” mixes that are sure to keep revelers on their feet.

Positioned as a grand comeback for Kiggundu, the festival builds on his track record of organizing successful events across London and other parts of the United Kingdom.

Speaking about the event, Kiggundu described UG Fest as a celebration of Ugandan culture, highlighting a rich blend of music, traditional cuisine, art, poetry, and family-friendly activities designed to create lasting memories.

He emphasized inclusivity, noting that the day-long festival is open to all age groups, with children under 12 years charged only £5 to encourage family participation.

Kiggundu further explained that the festival aims to bring together Ugandan families living in London and across Europe—not only for entertainment but also to foster meaningful connections and networking opportunities.

“This festival is all about family, culture, and community, unlike other events we have organized in the past,” he noted.

UG Fest 2026 will also feature exhibitions in art and craft, local cuisines, and poetry, making it a holistic cultural experience.

Kiggundu applauded  to partners supporting the event, including Housing Finance Bank, Victoria University, Ethiopian Airlines, Centenary Bank, and Reportage.
